Dr. Hanna Cao and her team want to personally extend a warm welcome to you. Dr. Cao's journey to becoming a dentist was quite unique, and we invite you to learn more about her story here.

Dr. Hanna Cao

Dr. Hanna Cao brings a rich heritage and unique perspective to Wellesley Hills Dental as a second-generation dentist. Her journey in dentistry began even before dental school, where she worked as a dental lab technician - an experience that cultivated her exceptional hand skills, meticulous attention to detail, and deep understanding of crafting teeth that are both beautiful and functional.

After earning her BA in Psychology from Brandeis University, Dr. Cao pursued her DDS degree at SUNY Buffalo School of Dental Medicine, graduating in 2012. Her outstanding performance in general dentistry earned her the prestigious Academy of General Dentistry award for her graduating class, with a particular excellence in aesthetic dentistry.

Driven to expand her expertise further, she completed an additional general practice residency in Brooklyn, where she broadened her skills across all aspects of dentistry, with a special focus on restorative care, emergency treatments, and caring for patients with special needs.

Dr. Cao's commitment to excellence is reflected in her dedication to continuing education, having completed hundreds of hours of additional training to stay current with the latest dental techniques and technologies. Her ability to communicate fluently in both English and Mandarin Chinese allows her to serve a diverse patient community, ensuring comfortable and clear communication for all her patients.

Emma

Dental Assistant

Emma has worked in the dental field for over three years, after graduating from the New England Dental Academy with her dental assisting license in 2022. She loves working with patients alongside Dr. Cao and her warm and gentle demeanor help our patients feel right at home during every visit. Her favorite thing about her job is helping patients build their confidence through improving their oral health. Outside of work, she loves kayaking, spending time with friends and family (especially her dogs!) and being outdoors.

Monyque

Front Desk

Monyque has worked in the medical and dental field for over 5 years, with extensive experience in front office administration and patient care. She earned her Associates degree in Business in 2022. Her favorite thing about her job is constantly learning new things about the dental field in order to make obtaining dental treatment easy and stress-free for our patients. She loves working alongside the team, and making sure every day is a good day for everybody. Outside of work, she loves doing hair, cooking and eating, and spending time with family.

In my several years of going to Dr. Cao I have been impressed with her state of the art professional skills, but as a bonus she's also very welcoming, pleasant, and friendly (as is the rest of her office staff). Last weekend a piece of one of my molars broke off and she was able to squeeze me in first thing Monday morning to repair it well enough to get me through the holidays. I'm scheduled to return for a more permanent fix in early January and I'm confident she'll do her usual great job.
